Trey is a Partner and member of the firm’s Management Committee. He served on the Operating Committee of BAML Capital Partners and our predecessor fund, Banc of America Capital Investors (BACI), from 2002 to 2010. He was a founding partner of BACI in 1993. Along with a focus on the firm’s strategic initiatives, Trey is primarily responsible for the group’s investment activity in the media sector and is also extensively involved in investments in telecommunications and financial services. He serves on the board of directors of Cumulus Media, AccentHealth, and Unite Private Networks and manages our investment in Univision Communications.
Prior to the founding of BACI, Trey was on the corporate finance team at the former NCNB Corporation. He also spent two years in the investment banking and capital markets groups at PaineWebber, Inc.
Trey earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
